Who is the data controller responsible for your personal data?

The processing of personal data collected through this website, as well as those collected as a result of the management of inquiries you raise, will be the responsibility of Aquatec Proyectos para el sector del agua, S.A. What is the purpose of processing your personal data?

Visiting the Company’s website and browsing its different sections does not require any personal data to be provided. However, we will collect certain information related to the navigation that you carry out (which will not always allow us to identify the User) through cookies installed on your computer. Main purpose: To manage the requests, queries or complaints you send via the website, for the purpose of processing them internally and, as applicable, to respond to you.

Likewise, if you grant consent by ticking the corresponding box, your personal data will be processed to send you commercial communications (by electronic, printed and/or telephonic means) related to Aquatec and other companies of the Suez Group by any means, including electronic means, provided that you give us your consent through box enabled for this purpose on the website, and until you request us to stop doing so.

Please note that to send commercial communications by electronic means we use third-party tracking technologies that allow us to obtain information about emails opening and clicking on the links contained therein by the recipients, in order to measure the effectiveness of the campaigns and to know the information that you are interested in, based on your interaction with our campaigns, in order to send you related content based on your profile. How long are they processed?

Your personal data will be processed for the main purposes as long as necessary to manage the request, query or complaint and will be processed throughout the contractual relationship if related to a contract you have signed with the company.

For the additional purposes of commercial communications, and provided that you have consented them, Aquatec will process your data until you request us to stop doing so.

Of course, you may at any time request that we stop processing your data for additional purposes. To do so, simply send us a request as indicated in the section of this document entitled “What are your rights?” in this document.

In any case, your personal data will be blocked and saved when the indicated periods end throughout the period during which any liabilities may derive in relation to the performance of the contract or any other purpose. When such liabilities expire, your personal data will be definitively deleted.

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

The legal basis for processing your personal data for the aforementioned purposes is the consent of the interested party, expressed through the corresponding boxes of the form. In any case, we inform you that you may withdraw your consent at any time through the means indicated in the section of this document entitled “What are your rights?”.

What security measures have been implemented to protect your personal data?

Your personal data will be processed under absolute confidentiality. Likewise, the proper technical and organizational measures have been implemented to guarantee their security and to prevent their destruction, loss, illegal access or illegal alteration. Criteria were taken into account when determining these measures such as the scope, context and purposes of processing, the state of technology and the existing risks.

Do any other entities have access to your personal data to help Aquatec with any of its tasks?

Aquatec relies on several providers who assist it with the performance of different tasks relating to the processing of your personal data.

 Aquatec guarantees that:

• In the absence of such a statement of adequacy (currently transfers are made to countries such as the United States, among others), the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission have been signed.

The request must include a copy of your national identity document or other equivalent form of identification as well as the minimum content established by applicable regulations. If the request does not meet these requirements, Aquatec may ask for correction.
